Behind a Hobby Lobby store in the Dallas, Texas area, some unscrupulous human abandoned three puppies in a cardboard box on a day with temperatures exceeding 100+ degrees. Not even a bowl of water was left for the puppies – just a slow, agonizing death sentence. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan found the puppies; Dallas Dog -Rescue.Report.Reform has taken over their care.

The puppies arrived at the organization’s veterinary partner on Monday full of worms and ticks all over their tiny bodies. They have been named Sariel, (light tan) Angelica, (tan with black face) and Gracie (black).

The two-pound puppies have all settled in with their foster families, loving their puppy formulas and snuggling in for the night. Sariel has a long term injury or defect to her back leg that will likely need to be amputated.
