Unwanted puppies were abandoned in a cloth pet carrier that was placed into a recycling bin outside of an animal shelter in Georgia. On Thursday, the Atlanta Humane Society posted a photo of three, darling puppies and explained the situation to Facebook followers, writing:
As we passed by our recycling bin, we noticed a cloth pet carrier sitting inside of it. No big deal, we thought. People leave donated supplies like this outside of our doors regularly.
Adding:
But imagine our surprise when the contents of the carrier began to squirm and whimper when we picked it up! Inside were three adorable, fluffy Yorkipoo puppies shivering from the cold.
The abandoned puppies were brought inside and warmed up – they are now safe and receiving care. According to the shelter, the puppies are not currently available for adoption, but they will be soon!
Atlanta Humane writes:
