Update: Chanel has been adopted!!

A young dog, described as “practically perfect” is in danger at a busy Texas animal control facility, and her advocates are at a loss over the lack of interest in her. On Wednesday, the Houston & Harris County Animal Volunteers Facebook page posted a photo of the year old pup, named Chanel, writing:

💔😭💔Well, we are at a LOSS for words! Chanel is URGENT again and there is still not ONE person in the greater Houston area who can open up their home to her.

Describing her many attributes, and their dismay over the sad lack of interest that may prove to be fatal:

She was loved once, but her time limit on that love ran out! We just don’t understand what this sweet girl would need, that she doesn’t already have, to get a foster to offer their home and heart to her. She is SPAYED, YOUNG, HEARTWORM NEGATIVE and DOG FRIENDLY! Yes, you read that right. She is practically perfect! She is a little scared in the shelter, but who wouldn’t be! Is that a reason for her to possibly lose her life?

Saving Chanel

Just one person is needed to save this pup’s life. Find her Petharbor link here.
