Police in St. Paul, Minnesota, are searching for a Navy veteran’s stolen car and his therapy dog, Ladybug. The department reached out to the public for assistance in the case on Thursday, writing:

Can you help us find Ladybug?

Ladybug is a Shar Pei, Pitbull, Retriever mix with a small scar on her rear left leg. She wears a pink collar (pictured) and a red therapy dog vest. She’s a registered therapy dog through the Department of Veterans Affairs. And she belongs to a U.S. Navy Veteran who has some medical issues with which Ladybug helps.

On April 27, Ladybug’s owner reported that his gray 2008 Dodge Caliber had been stolen; the dog was in the vehicle when it was taken.

Information

The Dodge Caliber is missing the front passenger hub cap and has front drive side bumper damage.

If you see Ladybug, please call 651-266-6546.
