Police need help identifying man who walked into business and shot dog

In Dallas, Texas, the Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the man who shot a large, black Labrador retriever dog causing serious injuries on March 3.

According to a press release by the police, the suspect entered the business located at 2107 McDaniel Drive and shot a dog that had been sitting in the sun by a tire. The surveillance video showed the man shot the dog several times and the dog running away.

Police have not released any information about the dog.

The suspect was seen driving a Green 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas license plate KRL1302.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 877.373.TIPS or Detective H. Tamez, #8518 Animal Cruelty Unit at 214.671.0115.
