Police in Socorro, New Mexico, have launched an investigation following the discovery of a severely injured puppy who had to be euthanized earlier this month. According to multiple sources, the puppy was found on July 6 at Sedillo Park – much of the puppy’s body was covered in severe burn wounds.

The authorities believe that hot liquid was poured onto the puppy’s body and they are now pursuing felony charges for whoever is behind the cruel act. Anyone with information about this puppy, or the cruelty case, should call the Socorro Police Department at 575-835-1883.
