The Suffolk County Police Department is hunting for the cruel hit-and-run killer of a woman’s emotional support dog. A sketch of the suspect was released on Friday.

According to the New York Daily News, the tiny poodle, named Romeo, had been walking with his owner on April 23 at approximately 11:15 p.m., when a female driver struck the pup with her SUV on Pine Street in Seiden. Instead of stopping when Romeo’s owner tried to reach out to the driver, the woman sped away.

The driver of the vehicle is described as white with long hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call (800) 220-TIPS.
