A heartless thief made off with hand-crafted auction items that were going to be used to raise funds for a rescue which saves animals. The despicable crime was made public by Julie Schirado, who explained what happened in a public Facebook post on August 15:

TO ALL OUT IN FB LAND..CAN YOU PLEASE SHARE TO HELP US FIND STOLEN AUCTION ITEMS THAT WERE BOUGHT/BUILT FOR FURRY FRIENDS ROCKIN RESCUE AND THEIR LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR…WOOFSTOCK! WHICH IS THIS COMING THIS SATURDAY.

Adding:

Ugh for anyone who has ever built anything you know the pain we are going through right now…hundreds of hours of sanding, welding, cutting, staining, electrical, and blood sweat and tears…. and the money for supplies has gone into these items for the sole purpose of saving animals.

With a plea for everyone to keep an eye out for the stolen items:

I am determined to catch the individuals who did this so please share …I am filing a police report and offering a reward to whoever can help us get our items back! PLEASE…If you see these in someone’s house, craigslist, online, anywhere, please message our page at Furry Friends Rockin Rescue or me. These items were taken out of a storage unit in Mandan. We checked cameras and can’t find anything….all help is appreciated…
