A pretty, old girl, at a busy California animal shelter, is waiting for someone to come and rescue her. The 10-year-old shepherd mix has been at the San Bernardino County Devore shelter since February 28, and she is listed as “rescue only.”

The Friends of Freddy Facebook page, which networks at risk dogs, provides more information about this senior dog:

MEDICAL WAIVER REQUIRED (seizures). Can be adopted by anyone who signs a medical waiver. Call Devore NOW and ask for time to come get this dog*

On Thursday, someone who met this dog provided insight to her personality on social media, writing:

She has no interest to speak of. She cannot wait! She needs help. Listed as medical for seizures, and look at her eye…💔
I visited her again today and was able to spend quite some time with her and she is nothing short of amazing! She’s friendly, loves when you talk to her and I know, will be a total love if given the opportunity to be!

You can help this homeless dog make it out of the shelter facility by sharing her adoption information. She certainly deserves a chance to live out the rest of her life in a home, with someone who cares about her.

I have been at the shelter since Feb 28, 2021.

  1. We had an epileptic dog. She took her medication and she was fine…… Yes, she had occasional seizures, but they were treated with her medications.
