In Tunica, Mississippi, Tre and Jazzy would be so much happier in a loving home, but there haven’t been any serious inquiries for the senior pups. While that rarely happens at the Tunica Humane Society, the staff is quite sure most people back away from dogs with special needs; you see Jazzy is completely blind.
The two dogs were rescued from a home in Memphis after their owner could no longer care for them. Separating Tre and Jazzy however is not an option.
“He protects her & for however long she lives, he will be at her side. She knows his smell. She knows his tender touch. He gives her the will to live, even without her eyes,” the organization posted on their Facebook page.
Please share their plight with family, friends and social media contacts. It is hoped one day soon they will find their forever family; someone that will love them just as much as the staff does, only they won’t be in a shelter. They will sleep every night in the comfort of a loving home.
