A neglected, senior German shepherd is as risk of being put down at a crowded animal control agency in Texas. The eight-year-old shepherd, dubbed Serena, is at the San Antonio city shelter and she is at risk of being euthanized.
On Saturday, the SAPA Urgents & Adoptables Facebook page posted a photo of Serena, writing:
619478 Serena is a female who is around 8 years old, is heartworm negative and weighs 58 lbs. THIS DOG IS IN ACS KENNELS & AT RISK OF BEING KILLED. SHELTER EVALUATES SPACE AT: 9:30am Mon-Sat, and again at 5pm Mon-Fri & 3pm Sat. Or at any time as space is needed.
The photo reveals badly overgrown nails, unkempt fur, and possibly a tumor.
Will you please share Serena’s information to help her find the help that she needs to survive? Time is not on this senior dog’s side.
