A man in Houston, Texas, was arrested and charged after donning a clown mask and repeatedly shooting a stray dog who was outside of a convenience store. As reported by Click 2 Houston, 21-year-old Gabriel Posey is accused of pulling out a semi-automatic handgun and shooting the dog at least seven times in the parking lot of the Modern Food Store.
With the help of surveillance video, and prior mugshots, the authorities were able to track down Posey and arrest him. He is facing multiple charges from the December 8 incident, and admitted to killing the dog. The news agency lists Posey’s charges as:
carrying a weapon on liquor license premises, cruelty to a non-livestock animal, deadly conduct by discharging a firearm and evading arrest.
The accused dog killer was booked into the Harris County Jail on a $31,500 bond.
