A man in Salt Lake City, Utah, was booked into jail after he lost his temper and killed his puppy. As reported by KSL News, the 30-year-old man admitted to the authorities that he had kicked the puppy in the stomach after it “failed to obey” him.
The puppy then bit the man on the hand, causing him to fly into a rage. The affidavit states:
“The dog then bit (the man) on the hand. (He) told me (he) then back-handed the dog, got on top of it and struck the dog in the head at least three times, causing its death,
The suspect’s name has not been released publicly. The man is facing a charge of aggravated animal cruelty.
