A man accused of dragging a dog to its death in Denver, Colorado, has been arrested. As reported by Fox News, police arrested Jacob Raffit Ibarra on Friday.

Ibarra is accused of dragging at dog, at speeds up to 45 m.p.h., on March 1 – the dog was taken to a veterinarian, but did not survive the horrific dragging incident. The Denver Police Department offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who committed the crime – thanks to an anonymous tip, Ibarra was arrested.

Ibarra is facing charges for tampering with physical evidence, a Class 6 felony, and two counts of cruelty to animals, a Class 1 misdemeanor. Police found his truck, painted black with no license plate, at his home, after following up on the tip.
