A Pennsylvania man is accused of killing and barbecuing his dog. According to the Northampton Police Department, 48-year-old Nikolay Lukyanchikov was found near the blaze last week – in a release the details were recounted:
On April 30, 2021 at approximately 7:12 a.m. Patrol was dispatched to a residence on Holly Knoll Dr. for a report of a fire pit and a couch on fire in the front yard. Upon arrival, Patrol made contact with the property owner, Nikolay Lukyanchikov sitting on a bench near the fire.
Once the fire was under control, Patrol observed an unknown animal badly burned and charred on top of a small metal charcoal grill. It was later learned the animal was Lukyanchikov’s dog.
The accused dog killer is facing charges of:
(18) 5534(a)(2) Aggravated Cruelty to Animals Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure (F-1) 18-2701.1 A (18)0907(B)Possessing Instruments of Crime (18) 5533 A-Cruelty to Animals (18) 2705 – Recklessly Endangering Another
He was jailed on $1 million bond.
