In Morristown, New Jersey, a young cow named Stacy is now enjoying her freedom at an animal sanctuary. Just this morning, the adorable 400-pound Hereford heifer was released from quarantine at the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and immediately took her warmup frolic in the pasture at the 230 acre facility.

The nine-month-old furry one ran away from a Queens slaughterhouse last week and was rounded up later in the day by rangers in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Mike Sutra, the founder and president of sanctuary said Stacy would be joining the other 93 bovines which are among the 450 permanent residents at the farm.
