At the Wichita Kansas Animal Shelter, an adorable and loveable pup only known as NM02 had been picked up as a stray on September 7, 2021. Just eight-months-old, this little one’s plight has taken a tragic twist when by all odds, puppies have the best chances of being adopted by new families.
Sadly, NM02 was relocated to the shelter’s isolation area for possible kennel cough. She is now listed to be euthanized and is labeled “rescue only” because of the need for immediate veterinarian care.
“She is just a baby, maybe 8 months old and sadly no owner has come to reclaim her. She needs a rescue pull for foster or adopter before it’s too late.”

You may visit the dogs but cannot remove them from kennels.

You may also call 316-524-9196 and ask for the rescue coordinator. Any licensed rescue in ANY state can pull this dog. Please allow 24 hours for a response.

B&B fosters must reside in KS per state licensing regulations; additional foster requirements are listed on our website. Adopters may apply from out of state. All B&B approved applicants must travel to Wichita for introductions.
