Homeless shelter dog, ‘Someday I hope to be handsome’

A shelter dog in Wenatchee, Washington, is hoping that someone will find him worthy of becoming their forever pet. On Saturday, the Wenatchee Humane Society posted a photo of Romy, writing a post from his perspective:

“SOME DAY I HOPE TO BE HANDSOME.”

The shelter advises that Romy is the “nicest” two-year-old boy, who is gentle and affectionate, despite a rough start to life. The animal welfare agency writes:

He is worried that his skin is kind of a mess and people will just pass him by. Romy will get the best care at the shelter from the Medical Team and his skin will be looking FANTASTIC in no time. Also…he really is a very handsome boy!
