A senior dog has spent the majority of her eight years of life at a shelter in Florida. The mixed breed dog, named Friday, has been sheltered for six, long years. Born Free Pet Shelter writes:
Frida is a boxer-mix who is approximately 8 to 9 years old. Frida has been in the shelter for 6 years – way too long for this fantastic, sweet dog. Unfortunately, every time we post Frida, she receives very little interest, which is strange because she is a perfect companion for any family and a volunteer favorite.
Sharing the senior dog’s many attributes:
Frida is very loving, calm and will always greet you with enthusiasm, but never jump on you. She waits patiently at the front door for her daily walks and walking her on a leash is a breeze; she never pulls and is well-trained. Frida will sit on command and is smart. She does not bark and is totally house-trained.
Frida enjoys the company of other dogs and going to the dog park – adding to the long list of positives is Frida’s bill of good health.
How is it possible that this beautiful, dog-friendly, affectionate dog is still homeless?? If you are interested in adopting Frida, please email email@example.com with questions or to apply!
