Powder was found as a stray and waits for help at San Antonio Animal Services. It is not known if she was abandoned or simply strayed from her home, but Powder is estimated to be 17-years-old and has a large mass on her chest which needs immediate veterinarian attention and evaluation.
Animal advocates have been pledging donations to help her, and there has been an approved 501c3 animal rescue submitting an application to rescue this senior. Even if there is nothing that can be done to extend Powder’s life, doesn’t she deserve kindness and love for the time she has left?

“The shelter staff think I am about 17 years old. I was found and am currently at San Antonio Animal Care Services. I am a female black Labrador Retriever blend. If you believe you may be my owner please make arrangements to pick me up as soon as possible by 2pm on 09/21/2021. I will need confirmed adoption, foster or rescue placement by 10am on 09/22/2021.”
