Happy days are on the horizon for a dog who was abandoned in the parking lot of a New York animal shelter. The hound, named Buddy, was left in a cage and discarded in the parking lot of the Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue earlier this month.
The dog was so traumatized by what happened that nobody could even get near him. Fortunately, that trauma will soon be a distant memory because Buddy has a new home. Earlier this week, the rescue group shared the good news with Facebook followers, writing:
UPDATE ON BUDDY THE DUMPED DOG!
Thanks to our Facebook followers, this poor boy who was callously dumped in our parking lot and left alone all night, has a happy ending.
Last week Buddy (as we call him) was dumped in our parking lot at 11:04 pm. Make no mistake, we are not dismissing this simply because Buddy has found a kind and loving forever home.
Sharing details about Buddy’s new home:
Thankfully with the care he received at Save-A-Pet, this emotionally confused and traumatized boy made a complete 180! Buddy’s new home will be on 3.5 acres out on eastern Long Island with a hound-loving, mom and dad! What could have easily turned out to be a tragic ending (he could have escaped out of his wire cage and gotten killed) is thankfully a happy ending.
Enjoy your new life Buddy!!
