An undeniably handsome German shepherd named Kevlar finds himself in need of a new home. The six-year-old dog was taken in at the Victor Valley Animal Protective League Humane Society (VVAPL) on the Fourth of July, and though he has a microchip, he remains homeless because his owner told shelter staff that they didn’t want him back.

According to a shelter volunteer, Kevlar did well when tested with other dogs, and he is friendly to people. German shepherds are extraordinarily loyal and intelligent dogs who make wonderful companions.

Are you a German shepherd lover? If you don’t live in the area, you can still help Kevlar by sharing his adoption information.
