A gym owner who decided to show off by doing pull-ups on an elephant’s tusks has sparked widespread rage after she was filmed on Sunday at a park in South Africa.
According to the Daily Mail, the woman, Emma Roberts, had been visiting the Adventures with Elephants elephant park in Mabula District where the incident took place. The video was posted to Twitter by journalist Yashir Ali which immediately exploded on the social media platform.

Ali followed the account of Rogers performing her theatrical stunts with more tweets, stating the woman never backed down or apologized for her exploitative and abusive behavior with the elephant. Rogers responded by telling Ali that “anyone shaming her is uneducated.”
Roberts did not agree that she had participated in any animal cruelty, however she decided to remove her posts from her now deleted Instagram account.

She should save the pull-ups for the gym. If she cared about the elephant she would not abuse this gentle giant by pulling herself up on his teeth. I wonder if she even gave a thought to how it made the elephant feel.
