At the Mahoning County Dog Warden in Youngstown, Ohio, 13-year-old Alan was picked up on Alden Avenue late last week. The finders told the animal control officers the owners had “kicked him out.”

Friends of Fido took Alan to the veterinarian for an examination. He has been diagnosed with an enlarged prostrate and has a Grade 2 hear murmur. He also needs dental work. Our hearts break for Alan.

This senior deserves a home where he can be loved and cared for in the future.

“For this to happen to a senior … that is a sin.”

Please share Alan’s plight with friends, family, social media contacts and approved rescue organizations. Sharing saves lives.

“The fact that no one came looking for him makes me think they didn’t want him.”
