A sweet, but shy dog named Turtle can’t seem to catch a break. The Brown County Humane Society Dog Shelter shared Turtle’s sad story of rejection, writing:

Turtle is back. This good boy can’t catch a break.
He was adopted yesterday but was returned this morning due to no fault of his own.
The other dog in the home didn’t like him…..

The short-time adopter appeared to like Turtle, just not enough to make things work. The shelter writes:

They said Turtle appears housebroken and was a joy to have around. Turtle got along well with the existing dog.
Please show Turtle to your Dachshund loving friends. He deserves better.

Information about Turtle and adoption

Turtle is approx. 6/7 yrs old and weighs 16.4 lbs.
