Sometimes there is just no loyalty, and this issue concerned a six-year-old Labrador retriever who was surrendered to the BARC shelter in Houston because she didn’t like the new puppy that came into the home.

“Katt was surrendered by her owners for being ‘aggressive and jealous’ of younger dog. It sounds like she was an only dog until she got older, and her owners got a young dog. She is a sweet girl that doesn’t deserve to be here,” the shelter report stated.

Katt’s confusion and pain of the separation can be seen on her face. Sadly, she is also “high heartworm positive.” Let’s share her plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Surely she deserves better.
