A family in Lima, Peru, thought that they were buying a husky puppy from a vendor, but their pup turned out to be a wild animal. As reported by ABC 7 News, the pup, named Run Run, started chasing after chickens and other animals, and eventually, he ran away from home.

Wildlife officials eventually captured the family’s wild “pet,” and he was relocated to a zoo, where he’ll spend his days living as a fox, instead of a pet husky.

No word on why the family thought that Run Run was a husky – it would seem that little Run Run was an impulse purchase and they were taken advantage of by an unscrupulous vendor.
