An extra-large cat, weighing in at nearly 30 pounds, was recently surrendered to an animal shelter that is low on space. On Wednesday, the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, in Blackwood, New Jersey, posted photos of the big boy, writing:

When we said we were low on space, we weren’t kidding!
St. Bubbles was just surrendered to us at a whopping 29.4 pounds 😳 due to his family going through a tough time.

According to the shelter, St. Bubbles is only two years old, and he is very sweet.

Explaining why St. Bubbles would do better in a home, than at the shelter facility:

He barely fits in our cat kennels and would fit into your home much better!

Shelter phone: (856) 401-1300

Shelter location:: 125 County House Rd, Blackwood, NJ 08012
