Last weekend, the Saint Francis Animal Center took dogs and cats to a local adoption event, and almost every one of them found a home…except for one lone dog that nobody wanted.

The South Carolina based animal rescue group wrote:

Every single animal (cat or dog) we took to the home show adoption event this past weekend was adopted or rescued, EXCEPT for one….Satu’s 3rd year at the shelter is this October. Our long time resident watched and hoped he might meet his family, but at the at the end of the weekend he was the only Saint left without a home.

Three years at the shelter…three years without a home of his home. Satu sat at the adoption event, waiting for someone to choose him, but that never happened.

Satu’s adoption profile reads:

Satu is the sweetest boy who has everyone who meets him, falling in love! He came in as a stray, and has been adopted out a few times, but he has made his way back to Saint Frances both times! Satu needs a loving, patient home with a family who will understand that it will take him some time to get into a routine of being in a home. Satu is a king though, so he needs to be the only animal in the home, and would need proper exercise daily. Satu is a huge lovebug who deserves a home of his own, where he can feel at home in a place where he knows he is loved and wanted, and where they have unlimited treats and blankets!
