On Saturday, dogs at the Nassau County Animal Services facility, in Florida, participated in a Petco adoption event, and all of them found homes…except for a senior Beagle named Gramps. The animal shelter shared the sad news on Facebook, writing:
Gramps went to our Petco adoption event today with three other dogs.
The other dogs found homes, but Gramps came back to the shelter .
Describing the homeless pooch’s sweet demeanor:
Gramps is a gentle soul that is friendly, and calm. Gramps does well around other dogs, but little humans tend to scare him so he may do better in a home with older children or adults-only.
