A dog, described as “super friendly,” has run out of time at a rural Nueces County, Texas, animal shelter, and he must be out of the facility by 6 p.m. His name is Miles and he was picked up as a stray…but he is now out of time, and has to leave.

The Nueces County Dogs In Need Of Rescue Facebook page writes:

End of Watch: Deadline 6 pm tomorrow – – IS THAT HEAVEN UP THERE ? Miles waits in EU Pen: this boy needs a bit of TLC & medical care for an old injury – SUPER FRIENDLY, Miles is a 64 pound male pitty boy and was friendly to the animal control officers at intake.

Miles’ only crime was having no home. Now, if nobody comes forward in time, he may be put down – a death sentence usually bestowed upon hardened criminals, not “super friendly” dogs.

Please share Miles’ story and help him find a way out before it’s too late.
