At the Hertford County Animal Shelter, overcrowded conditions and the lack of funds for veterinary care for stray dogs and cats has propelled this poor pooch to the front of the line for humane euthanasia.
Just look at her; she’s a mess, and it’s by no fault of this poor dog. Whoever allowed her condition to become so serious and likely painful and itchy, should be standing in front of a judge and sentenced to the harshest punishments allowable by law.
There has not been much information offered by the shelter, however Friends of Hertford County Animals NC has been sharing this puppy’s plight.
“We cannot risk the other dogs. Funds needed for rescue and rescue needed asap. We can not hold this baby.”
