An emaciated young dog, found along an access road in Fort Wayne, Indiana, was likely confined to a small cage and denied food. As reported by WANE News, the year-old dog, who is too weak to walk, was discovered on Thursday near the former Target building in the 7600 block of South Anthony Boulevard.
Officials with Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control are hoping to find whoever is responsible for the dog’s condition, and abandonment. Anyone with information about the dog, or the situation, is asked to contact the animal shelter at 427-1244 option 1.
The dog is receiving care and treatment at the Fort Wayne Animal Care facility.

It breaks my heart that someone would do this to a dog (or any animal). It’s picture cause me to cry a long time. Don’t you-who did this- know that “God” saw His reflection and an animal’s in the water and “doG” appeared in reverse. This was one of God’s creatures named by Him. I am not on social media. I would like to help with the poor dog’s medical care. FWACC, what is your address? If a scammer sends me the wrong address, I’ll find out.
