Butler County, Ohio – An emaciated dog was recently found deceased inside of a wire dog cage that had been wrapped with a shower curtain, and the local authorities are determined to find the person who is responsible. On November 2, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office posted images of the cage and detailed what is known about the cruelty case:
The Butler Sheriff’s Office Dog Wardens responded to the area of Knoll Lane in Madison Township for a deceased K9, called in by a bus driver on her route. Upon arrival it was discovered an emaciated brindle Cane Corso was in a cage covered with feces with two filthy bowls.
Adding:
The cage was wrapped with a shower curtain and a shower curtain liner with the hooks still attached. These are the pictures we could show, the others were disgusting.
The authorities are determined to find the person responsible for this dog’s death and they have asked that the story be shared so that it can reach more people. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Dog Warden Megan Niehaus at 513-887-7297 ext.7.
