Big Boy and Queen are bonded seniors, and when their owner died, no one in the family wanted them, and so off they went to the Riverside Animal Shelter in California.
Both dogs have been described as having sweet dispositions, are very friendly and get along extremely well together. Big Boy is slower on his feet than his bonded pal and tires out very quickly. Even a simple stroll around the play yard becomes a reason for Big Boy to rest. He is a big, handsome hunk who could benefit from much needed veterinarian care.
As for Queen, this gal is as “sweet as pie.” The ten-year-old takes the lead and gets around quite well.
“We are hoping a rescue can take them together, as they’ve already lost someone so important in their lives.”
Please share their plights; their futures are questionable, but sharing their stories with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts can change this uncertainty. Big Boy and Queen deserve better.

SUPER URGENT! RIGHT NOW! ONLY YOUR DEEPEST LOVE CAN TAKE AWAY THEIR PAIN! THIS SHELTER WILL KILL THEM WITHOUT YOUR HELP!
This is heartbreaking…… one must have a plan for their furbabies who survive them…….
Families can’t be counted on to care for furbabies (many times they have their own furbabies or allergies or are not animal lovers)…… often the family wants the “financially valuable” items but gets rid of the animals (the original owner would be absolutely horrified to learn their precious treasures are on the euthanasia list & not with their family)…….
Euthanized per Facebook……
Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking……..
The family of the original owner disgusts me……. They took everything from their dead relative and dumped the precious treasures because in their minds, they were “just dogs”……. Sadly I know people who have this attitude (& I can’t understand them)…..
I hope these precious treasures are reunited in Heaven with their original human.
I have no doubt that this person was horrified that these precious treasures were euthanized instead of being rehomed…….
Precious treasures, I am very sorry that you were failed by humans. I know that you are absolutely in Heaven. Please look for MacKitty and join his wonderful snuggle buddies group and RIP amongst loving friends…….
