In Jefferson County, Colorado, a small dog was thrown out of a moving vehicle on 1-76 near Sheridan Boulevard around 1:45 p.m. The tiny poodle suffered critical injuries and passed away on Tuesday evening.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, eyewitnesses told deputies it appeared as if the cream-colored dog had been intentionally tossed out of the car.
The car was described as a black Lexus sedan. If you have any information about the potential owner or if you were a witness, please call 303-271-5070 or email [email protected]. The Foothills Animal Shelter is caring for the dog and had tried to save his life.
Sadly, late in the evening, the update on the dog stated:
Update 10:10 pm:Despite extensive efforts by Foothills Animal Shelter’s veterinarian and health care team, as well as the health care team of an emergency animal clinic, the dog was unable to be saved and is at peace. Thank you for your offers to help and for your support of Foothills.

I am heartbroken for this precious little treasure. How can anyone be so cruel to a defenseless furbaby……. there are options for rehoming an unwanted furbaby…….
The idea that an individual would think throwing a helpless furbaby onto a busy roadway is an “acceptable action” terrifies me. Who’s next for their terrible treatment? Cruelty to defenseless animals, children and elderly people is how serial killers “practice”…… this horrible individual should be found and locked up forever!!!
They have earned themselves a reserved spot in the hottest part of Hell to burn forever for their cruelty.
