Someone abandoned a young pit bull in an Indianapolis, Indiana, motel room. As reported by WTHR News, the gray and white dog was discovered inside of a room at the Days Inn on Post Road, earlier this month.

On August 18, the Twitter account for IMBD posted a video of the pup in the motel room, writing:

Some hotel guest left a pit bull in their room.

The pup appeared to be extraordinarily friendly to the officers who entered the room. The abandoned pooch was taken to the Indianapolis Animal Care Services facility to be held for the mandatory stray hold. After that period of time, the pup would be available for adoption. There is no mention of the dog on the Facebook page for the shelter and it is unclear if anyone claim to claim the pup as their own.

Find the list of adoptable animals at the shelter facility here.
