A shelter dog is growing increasingly lonesome and depressed after weeks of being overlooked and bypassed at a Virginia animal shelter. On Tuesday, the Martinsville Henry County SPCA posted images of Sugar, explaining her situation:

Our sweet Sugar has been at the shelter for 77 days with little attention!
She is a quiet girl who loves to be outside and is fascinatedby squeaky toys. She prefers to be the center of attention in her home. While she will accept other dogs around, she doesn’t want to share her personal space.

Explaining her sadness:

Poor Sugar is depressed and lonely, and needs a true forever home.

Will you please help Sugar find a home? She needs a family to love and care for her.
