‘Dee Dee’ has spent 10 or her nearly 11 years at shelter: New year new home?

In Canoga Park, California, Dee Dee has spent most of her life at the Pet Adoption Fund. When she was eight-months-old, she was found rummaging through the trash. For the last 10-years, Dee Dee has been waiting for her Prince or Princess Charming to arrive.
As for Dee Dee’s story; she is an energetic gal searching for an active family who will appreciate her for the sweet,  protective and full of life pooch she has happily become. She knows her basic commands, and there is nothing more fun for her than a few walks, a hike, maybe a trip to the beach or even a dip in the pool – Dee Dee is always ready for an adventure.
So what kind of home would suit Dee Dee best? Her caregivers feel an all-adult home with a secure yard and and a human companion experienced in free-spirited dogs who has the time and the energy to keep up with Dee Dee would be perfect. And although she can be fine around other dogs on walks, this special pooch is royalty and will want to be the only “four-legged queen in your castle.”
