Update 2/13/21: Tagged for rescue!

A deaf and blind dog finds himself in need of help at a Texas animal shelter. MASA Rescue, an animal welfare agency which networks and pulls dogs from animal control agencies, posted a photo of the dog, writing:

3 year old male Shepherd Mix
Deaf and blind, possibly an Odessa dog
(This guy was sound asleep. Am hoping for a better picture. I didn’t have the heart to wake him.)

Shelter hours – MONDAY-THURSDAY 9:30-5:30, FRIDAY 9:30-4:30

  1. Is there any way of contacting Lonestar Animal Sanctuary and see if they could hopefully take 3 yr old blind and deaf shepherd. Please try, this poor kiddo needs a chance, I hope someone will step up!

  2. We have a blind rescue dog (have had other blind dogs in the past). They are the same as any other dog: love treats, drives to the country, the beach, Grammy & Grampy, stealing food, chew toys, snuggles & hate: bath time & the vet (with a passion)…..
