At the Fort Worth Animal Care Center and Control, a bonded senior pair had been surrendered because their previous owner was no longer able to afford to care for his dogs. Remy Ma and NaNae take care of each other and must stay together.

Tan colored Remy Ma (#47683960) is four-years-old, weighs 52 pounds, is heartworm negative and spayed. Her bestie, NaNae (#47683894) is seven-years-old, weighs 62 pounds, is also heartworm negative and is also spayed. Both dogs lived with other dogs in harmony, are house-trained, crate-trained and know “sit” as a command.

Their advocate is asking for help – share their story with friends, family, approved rescue organizations and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.

Both dogs are still available for adoption, but they have developed upper respiratory infections.

“PLEASE DON’T LET THEM SIT IN THE SHELTER ANY LONGER, SCARED TO DEATH AND CLINGING TO EACH OTHER!!! THEY DESERVE A LOVING, CARING HOME WHERE THEY CAN DECOMPRESS AND RELAX AND KNOW THEY’RE SAFE!!! PLEDGES, FOSTER, RESCUE, ADOPTER NEEDED TO SAVE THESE TWO PRECIOUS DOGS!,” their advocate shouts out to everyone.

Adoptions must be done in person. Do not call the shelter. All rescue tags must be sent via EMAIL: [email protected]

They are located at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control/Chuck Silcox Adoption Center, 4900 Martin Street, Fort Worth Texas 76119.
