A blind West Highland terrier mix found as a stray this week used his only defense to protect himself, when an animal control officer picked him up. Obviously, the seven-year-old pooch couldn’t discern if the person trying to pick him up was a friend or foe – now he waits in quarantine because he is reported to have bitten the officer.

PetHarbor listing:

“My name is Allen/snowball and I am described as a neutered male, white Poodle – Miniature mix. The shelter thinks I am about 7 years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 01, 2021.

For more information about Allen, call Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566. Ask for information about animal ID number A5406684.
