Authorities seek information after cat thrown from moving truck

Police in Henderson County, North Carolina, are seeking information about whoever is responsible for an act of cruelty against a cat. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office issued a public plea for help on August 26, recounting what happened to the black and white kitty:

Soft kitty🐱, Warm kitty🐱, Little ball of fur, happy kitty😸, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr😽…. Online Detectives, we need your assistance identifying the owner of this truck!! On Friday August 20th at around 8 am this little cat🐱 was thrown from a moving vehicle (truck pictured) on Ridge Rd in the Dana community.

According to the authorities the cat was abandoned, without food, water or shelter, for three days. The cat survived, but suffered “minor injuries,” after being tossed from the truck.
