Authorities in Caldwell County, North Carolina, are searching for whoever is responsible for fatally shooting a dog who was resting on the porch of an area store. On Monday, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office recounted what is known about the animal cruelty case, writing:
Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the person(s) that shot and killed a dog, “Rocky” on Sunday March 28th at Betsy’s Store in the Wilson’s Creek Community.
Providing information about the vehicle the suspects were in at the time:
The suspects were in a gray or blue Honda Odyssey Van. It appears that the suspects drove up and shot the dog as he was resting on the front porch of the store.
