According to multiple sources, a dog who killed a toddler in Illinois on March 18, has been euthanized. The family of the year old girl, A’myrikal Hull, requested that their so-called “pocket bully” be put down after she bit the child on the head when the little girl walked near the food dish while the dog was eating.
As reported by the New York Post, the toddler had also reached into the dog’s food bowl. A friend of the family stated:
“The baby walked by the dog as she was eating and reached for her food,”
The little girl suffered fatal injuries and she died after being transported to an area hospital. The dog, who had been with the family for four years, was taken to Sangamon County Animal Control for observation. Last week, the dog’s owner requested that the canine be put down.
