For nearly two months, a senior dog named Cupcake has waited for someone to save her from the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. The nine-year-old Chihuahua has health issues, is visually impaired, and she could use a helping hand to make it out of the shelter alive.
On Tuesday morning, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page posted a plea for assistance for the senior dog:
The Carson Shelter would like to ask for assistance in regards to a dog that is in our facility. Cupcake has been at the Carson Animal Care Center since July 4, 2021 and her medical condition has been an area of concern. Cupcake needs a rescue to pull her, she is geriatric and has a heart murmur. This special girl is vision impaired, came in as a stray and she needs help now. Please SHARE for a FOSTER and RESCUE to save her. Thanks!
You can help save Cupcake’s life by sharing her adoption information! She is in the twilight of her life, and deserves to be spending her time in the company of someone who loves her.
