A 15-year-old dog named Gentry finds himself homeless in the twilight of his life after his former owner decided that they could no longer care for him. This week, Susie’s Senior Dogs writes:

Gentry has lived a very full and very good life. However, his former owner could no longer care for him and Gentry now finds himself in need of a new home at 15 years old. Life sure does have a way of twisting and turning when you least expect it, but Gentry is feeling hopeful that new adventures await him, albeit a little less exotic now perhaps.

Gentry’s rescue group, Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation, describes this senior dog’s personality, writing:

Gentry has a sweet personality and loves to be around his humans. He loves to cuddle in your lap, sit next to you on the couch, and sleep near you at night. Gentry interacts well with the resident dogs in his foster home and enjoys exploring the backyard with them.

Gentry loves car rides and being outdoors. He loves walking and will let you know when he is raring to go. He walks well on a leash and enjoys the scents along the way. He does not react to other dogs, squirrels, or bunnies along the way.

Please help Gentry find a family to spend the rest of his life with by sharing his information! Read more here.
