A young kitten has died after being thrown out the window of a moving vehicle. According to the El Segundo, California, Police Department, a witness observed someone throwing a small, grey kitten onto the street on the morning of July 13. Before officers arrived, another car struck the kitten.
Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Continental Blvd. and transported the kitten to an animal hospital for treatment. An update one day later states:
UPDATE ON ANIMAL CRUELTY CASE
Yesterday we posted about an animal cruelty case where a kitten was thrown out of a car. We have two updates related to that case:
1) Unfortunately the animal hospital advised us that the kitten has died from its injuries
2) The crime occurred near the intersection of Nash St/Grand Ave (not Continental Blvd/Grand Ave as we originally reported)
