A young dog, not even two years of age, finds himself homeless at a busy California animal control agency. The dog, named Bruno, was surrendered by his owner who told staff that the dog did not get along with another dog in the household.

Bruno’s advocate writes:

This poor, scared babe. Shelter has him as Rescue Only (meaning he can only go with a rescue group who will take the time to find him just the right home). Surrendered to the shelter because he did not get along with the other male in the home (was fine with female).

Bruno is clearly confused and frightened – he is labeled “rescue only” and needs to ultimately join a household with a patient, kind owner who will help him feel safe and secure.

  1. One has to wonder what the owners did to try to make the dogs get along. This poor boy is much to frightened to have been treated well. I hope and pray a good rescue gets him and he will on the road to a loving home and new life.
