A 21-year-old woman in Utah is facing charges for allegedly torturing a young dog. According to multiple sources, Victoria Dudnik is facing a third-degree animal cruelty felony, and numerous drug-related charges.

The charges stem from the condition of a five-month-old puppy named Evangeline who was rescued from Dudnik’s residence in September. The puppy had a laundry-list of injuries, including “skull fractures, a broken jaw, a healed right leg fracture, a broken shoulder, a crippling hip injury and broken ribs,” reports the Standard-Examiner.

Dudnik claims that she found the puppy injured on a roadway and thought that she had been hit by a car – she did not seek veterinary care because she claims that she did not have the funds to do so. However, a veterinarian determined that the pup’s injuries were not consistent with being hit by a car and the wounds were in various stages of healing when she was rescued.

KUTV News reports that a police officer found “blood and animal feces on the walls, floor, and clothing throughout the house” when searching the woman’s house. The woman is also facing drug charges following the discovery of social media posts offering drugs for sale. She also had in her possession, 58 grams of marijuana dabs, plus raw marijuana, a digital scale and packaging materials.

Evangeline has recovered from many of her injuries, though she has lost her sight; a veterinarian at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists has adopted her.

  1. Very sad situation. Actually according to other news articles there were other animals in the home: 1 dead cat, 1 dying dog (who died at the vet), & 3 cats.

Why this POS had all these animals that she neglected and abused makes no sense….. no law states that one must have pets…….

This POS has earned herself a reserved spot for eternity in the hottest part of Hell for her cruelty.
